Last week I worked on creating a website to showcase a little bit of what Zero Gear is all in one place. You can view it here, at http:myZeroGear.com

Oh, nice! :) I would certainly love to play this if my pc were up to the specs this game needs. ( I really need to upgrade my pc, or just get a very nice laptop)

who knows, maybe you will be able to play it! We are aiming to make the game playable on lower spec machines.

Just out of curiosity, have you ever thought of porting this game on consoles. Like either the Ps3 or 360?

Err.. I mean on to consoles.

We have thought about it. The problem is it costs money to get the dev systems for the XBox and PS3 and would take a lot of time to work on 3 platforms at once for 2 people. We would need to get more people and funding.

For the time being, PC is just way easier to develop on.

Eventually I would like to get it on consoles...

I've already whined about adding enough features to drive you guys insane but i have to suggest one of the coolest possible things any development team in history could do

You emphasize how important customization is sooooo:

when the game comes out, maybe you guys could post the average 3 Dimensional scale of the accessories and hats and whatnot and do the file structure in a way that would make it somewhat easy for someone to make their own accessories too.

Although it would be difficult to show on internet based games it shouldnt be that difficult to perhaps display it on either just the users screen with default equipment on others, or if you are feelin crazy you could make the custom things a tiny forced download within a certain size limit, uploaded and distributed by the host of said game....

thats just my 2 cents.. (i get carried away easy)

Corey, great minds think alike :)

We have already talked about letting people create their own hats and accessories (it would require some technical knowledge of tools like Maya however...).

We would definitely have all the players download the items before the race so that everyone can see all the cool stuff. I would then like all players to have access to that stuff in their own inventory.

Now the really cool stuff will happen when people can make their own maps and game modes........ ;)
